Hello there!
My name is Jenna, and I am the conversation assistant for the ‘22-‘23 school year at IES Diego de Praves. A little bit about me: I am 23 years old and from a small town called Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. I live about an hour and a half from Philadelphia, 2 hours from Washington D.C., and 3 hours from New York City - that’s pretty close to several major cities (at least by U.S. standards)! In May of 2021, I graduated from the University of Lynchburg where I received my degree in Psychology in Theatre. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, singing, and traveling to new places and trying different kinds of food. Speaking of food, I am a big fan of some traditional Spanish cuisine such as tortilla de patata (in case you’re wondering, I prefer it with onion) and I am slowly getting used to the later meal times here in Spain. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone this school year and helping the students improve their English skills. Also, if you have any recommendations for things to try in Valladolid or within the rest of Spain please let me know. It’s going to be a great year!- Jenna P.S.
